My real name is Martina, therefore my nickname is Marty. Mars was named after my name as well, since Martina's origins are from the latin language, "dedicated to Mars".
Trainer-Marty's original name is Martin, and is a male version of me, we could say. He's not me, but he was created after me for the nuzlocke and developed soon into a whole new character ;A; which I share nickname with.
