I need to get used to making backgrounds. Especially since I want to join a certain group... and that group requires a little bit of knowledge or at least will to make backgrounds and have varied art. And anyway, I need to improve as an artist and one way to do so is drawing backgrounds! Even though this is just a tree branch, it was challenging for me.

Protip for myself: if I want to draw backgrounds, I have to sketch them on paper. I can't do crap fully digital.

Challenges I set for myself in this: shading, pose practice, colour choices, resorting only to PS's default round brushes and my own inking one.

That is such a cool looking character. I love unique characters :3
He should stalk my char Jack, since Jack likes to murder people he'd never have to worry about food x3
